Let's cut to the chase. If you're even considering such an expensive saddle you must be heavily into your biking. I had a selle italia SLR (with no cut out) and after one 50 miler (a long ride for me) I really struggled in the sack with my wife. I got this saddle which is a slightly better version of the one I was using (slightly lighter, more carbon fibre, *and* the critical cut-out) and wha-hey ! No more complaints downstairs. The cut-out definitely reduces the risk of numbness down there. 250 clams for a saddle ? A lot. 250 clams to restore your self-esteem ? Bargain. ;-)
