This seat is definitely designed for the bigger butt people in the Road Bike world. I weigh 260lbs. (very built though with a big butt) and this is very cushioning. The slit in the middle is very helpful to relieving pressure on the "softer tissue" area of your underside. I am talking from a lot of experience with having an open sore be caused due to rubbing and heat. sure it is expensive but for the cost it is definitely worth the money. Ad the biggest plus i believe is the fact that it still keeps the smaller design and profile of a Road Bike seat without the cumbersome size usually associated with the more cushioning seats. Would recommend this to anybody who needs the cushion but doesn't want to sacrifice size or too much weight.

If your bum hurts and you're a big guy rider, this is a great solution. Selle Italia is a top notch brand and the bike supply retailer shipped quickly.

This seat is great for bigger guys, allows additional support and smoother ride with less irritation in areas men want to avoid. I've put 150 miles on this saddle so far and happy with it's performance.

I rarely go out of my way to leave rave reviews but I simply had to considering how much time I spend on this seat. I ride every day, putting in about 200 miles in every week. This seat is MARVELOUS. I am 5'10" and 200 lbs and this seat is like riding on a cloud even for a big guy like me. The first time I took it out, I ended up going 80 miles instead of my scheduled 40 because of how comfortable this seat was. When I am comfortable on my bike, I go further because my whole body feels better in general. I love this seat and would buy it again in a heartbeat.

Got this to replace the stock Bontrager flat board seat (was not comfortable) for my Trek Madone 4.7 - This Gel is comfortable to seat on - especial as a guy for the "sensitive" area when riding (the hollow middle is the difference). The seat's white color and black and red trim compliments my bikes white, Black and cinnamon-red color

You get what you pay for, and this is definitely worth it. on real long rides 60+ you begin to feel the seat, but on rides that long, a seat is a seat. for commuting and short 40 mile rides, keeps me in great shape, no real fatigue from sitting on it. Worth every penny!

I mistakingly ordered this saddle instead of the Gel Flite regular. Far too big for my little bottom, so I had to return it. Problem was that the original got lost in the mail, taking over three weeks to arrive. During which a second one has been shipped, and is yet to show up (two weeks ago). I am still waiting for the second to appear to return them both. I'll never buy from this site again. The service was very slow--would never find such terrible service at any other retailer.
