A NEW BOOK FROM LH MAYNARD & MPN SIMS. SELLING DARK MIRACLES is a 100,000-word collection of STORIES - supernatural and crime - ESSAYS and INTERVIEWS, that brings together work from the two hardback collections SHADOWS AT MIDNIGHT and ECHOES OF DARKNESS - both now out of print - as well as other stories published and unpublished over recent years. Essays from the column on At The Worlds End are included as are interviews recently conducted with the authors. Introduction by HUGH LAMB. This is the complete Maynard-Sims story to 2000. Features work never before published in USA. This unique compilation - One of a pair with the companion volume THE SECRET GEOGRAPHY OF NIGHTMARE - has stunning cover art from Geoffrey A Priest.

By the end of 2002 Len Maynard & Mick Sims will have been responsible for 40 books in the genre, as well as having numerous stories published in other people's books. These books and stories from them have gained Stoker recommendations and Honourable Mentions. 2001 saw Moths, their novella, available in USA. Their standalone novella The Hidden Language Of Demons is out in 2002 from prime Books, USA, and also out in 2002 are two collections of their stories, essays and interviews each containing 100,000 words - The Secret Geography Of Nightmare and Selling Dark Miracles - one introduced by Hugh Lamb and the other by Stephen Jones, the latter two from Cosmos Books USA. Their fourth collection, Falling Into Heaven, is completed, as is a short novel, The Seminar. As editors they produce Darkness Rising the USA anthology series, and are editing the retrospective anthology, Best Of Enigmatic Tales, and an original anthology, Cold Touch with William Simmons. As publishers they ran Enigmatic Press in the UK, which produced Enigmatic Tales, and its sister titles. They co-edit and publish F20 with David Howe for The British Fantasy Society.
