By Gretchen Putz (Pacifica, Ca United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Seminole Diary: Remembrances of a Slave (Hardcover)
Not many people know how the Seminole's helped slaves to freedom. This book lets children and adults see through the eyes of a young slave girl named Libbie. She shows us what it was like to escape an abusive plantation owner by joining the Seminole Indians and how it changed her life forever.
