A fine collection of classic sempe...,
By Morticia72 (Valais, Switzerland) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Sempe: Everything is Complicated (Hardcover)
Sempe's whimsical illustrations deftly captured with a brilliant touch of wit and humour, the foibles of the bourgeoisie and the ironies of Life. This particular compilation is well worth getting together with its companion "Nothing is Simple".
Some of Sempe's more morbid artwork may remind you of the dark humour of Charles Addams, another noted and well-loved New Yorker illustrator. If you're a fan of Addams like me, you would most probably appreciate Sempe too.
