Author Levitt has produced an eye-opening and very satisfying read about Jews in the United States Marine Corps. In the US Military, the Corps is the last place one would imagine Jews to serve, but Semper Chai vividly dispels this belief. Many Jewish Marines have served thru the years in peace and in war, and have amassed a record of high rank, accomplishment, and individual heroism in the most significant battles on Land, Sea, and Air. All in all, a captivating read and a great coffee-table book.
