I wish I had known that this VHS was a DOCUMENTARY!!! I read a book called, Semper Fi. It was a really good book with action, adventure, and drama. When I found this "movie" on Amazon.com I decided to buy it, but I wanted to read the reviews to make sure it was what I thought it was. The reviews were describing it as an action packed movie full of drama, so I bought the "movie." Once it arrived via UPS, I looked at the covery and decided that this is not what I wanted. It is a good documentary, but I felt misled by Amazon.com's description of the VHS. I watched some of the DOCUMENTARY feeling that I should discover what I purchased. Though, for the next person that views the description of this VHS and decides to buy it, just know that it is a documentary and not a movie.

Semper Fi is such a great movie! It shows all that people have to go through in order to be a Marine and it's also funny and very dramatic. If you like Dramas, Adventures, War films or anything like that you've got to try this film! I loved it!

This is a great video depicting the era of the Marine corps from WWII through Korea. It is very informative and there is some great footage of the battles in the Pacific. If you are into history films then this is the video for you.
