I purchased this item as a Christmas gift for my Brother. I liked it so much, I bought 4 more. I preloaded each with family pictures, set up the clock and display times and will give them out this Christmas Day.

The software is just basic, but works fine for what this appication. It does come with readable instructions. I like the fact that it can hang, or sit on a shelf. It also can be programmed for up to 23 min on, 23 off.

It's a real cool for the price and makes a nice gift. I would recommend this to anyone over the age of 12.

I purchased this item from Walmart in the film development area, I brought it home and put the 2 batteries in the item that came with it! Put in the CD and plugged in the USB cord, seariously, I am not computer savy but this was fun, and quick. I am giving it to my 70year old Grandma. She has a million picture frames but when she gets it on christmas day it will already have some photos of her Great Granddaughter, Granddaughter and Son enclosed in it. I had a great time going through my pictures to prepare it for her. I highly suggests this item for the one that is hard to shop for!

I received this ornament as a gift. Easy to load pictures and set up timer. I have my timer set to come on for a couple of hours each night. Love the ornament. Would buy it as a gift for someone else. Not sure I will even put it away after Christmas.

software wouldn't load and when you go to the website for help it's closed/under construction. I was so excited about giving it to my parents with pictures of their grandkids on it. Looks like that's not happening!

I'm a big ornament collector and love giving them as gifts. I believe that for years to come, someone will always think (while decorating the tree) "I remember who gave me this", as that is how I am.

I actually found these first on QVC months ago. I had to buy some as gifts, and purchased two for us. We'd lost two of our dogs this year and thought it would be a great tribute the the years of love and loyalty they gave to us.

At first I had problems. It turned out that it was a defective disc, but I contacted customer service, via email, and they were more than helpful.

It was easy to set up and actually made me cry when I put them on. I had no idea how much buying these for my family would mean. I can only hope that those who received them as gifts love them as much as I do.

I bought 2 of the kind, both use the same software, the first one never turned on, and the second one... the software never got installed right, and now, I keep uninstalling it and it doesn't work!... Waist of time (I tried everything, restart my computer bunch of times) ... went to the manufacturing website, NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT, they don't even mention anything about this product! DON'T BUY IT

I don't understand why this has to have specific software for loading, and why this software isn't available from their website. It was a bit confusing for me, and as I'm quite a geek, I can see how it would be even harder for someone who doesn't know their way around a computer.

Once it was set up, it worked great. Picture quality was surprisingly good.

Same as the other poor review. I bought NINE of these....NONE will install or load. On hold with tech support for so long that I couldn't hang on any more (20+ minutes!) No help on website

This is a cute little item. I got it for my mom who has limited space. It's now loaded with photos of her grandchild. She's going to love it. The only issue is it's a really dark screen, so you must choose bright photos. The Software is cheep, but easy to use. I finished getting this set up for her in 20 minutes, including sorting through photos and uploading them. It's great for the price.

I got this for my parents as part of their christmas gift. They seemed to like it. I like the fact that you don't have to hang it on the tree- as it comes with a stand so you can sit it on your desk, coffee table, or fireplace.
The screen is pretty small and the bulb is made out of plastic, so it looks a tiny bit chinsy. Over all it is a decent gift for anyone who likes pictures, christmas ornaments, and especially personalized ornaments.
It's cheap enough to add it to another gift you know someone would enjoy.
