The versatile SLS18 weighs just 2.9 pounds, but it can drive 1/2-inch to 1-1/2-inch staples into hard woods with an operating pressure of 70 to 120 psi. With either a dual or restrictive trigger, you can choose between high productivity or precision placement, making it the ideal stapler for a range of applications. No matter how thin or delicate the material, the SLS18 is consistent and accurate drive after drive.

This tool also offers the versatility to take on a variety of jobs, including cabinets, soffit, fascia, drawer and craft assembly, picture frames, and case backs.

User-Friendly, Time-Saving Features
The SLS18 features an adjustable depth-of-drive to drive staples in a consistent and controllable depth, while an easy-open latch saves time when you're loading. To help ensure clear visibility, a rear exhaust keeps oil and debris away from the work piece, and a no-mar pad protects work materials. For longer life, there's a hardened steel driver, and a full soft grip provides extended comfort and control, even during all-day jobs.

I purchased the SLS 18 stapler to secure luan underlayment in my kitchen/breakfast room. I shot over 5000 staples without any jamming, double fires, etc. In short, the stapler worked perfectly. In addition, the soft feel of the hand grip is very comfortable, although it is already showing signs of wear.

I use this stapler almost exclusively to install plywood backs (typically 1/4" to 3/8" thick) on cabinet carcasses which are almost always 3/4" plywood. I have not had a jam or other problem in over two months of use. One nice feature is an integral 3/8" spacer on the nosepiece which allows me to very easily center the staple in 3/4" material. Nice little touch. I would recommend.

I used this stapler quite a lot since if first got it and would recommend it for the price, but my only complaint that kept it from getting five starts would be that every now and then it misfires and just marks up the wood - happens the most with 1 1/2" staples but has never happened with 3/4" staples, I was using Senco staples too, but no jams though. Overall a good gun, nice case and good depth adjustment and consistency even in thin delicate material.
