Micropins fasten the smallest trim and leave virtually no hole. These pins are for use in Senco FinishPro 10 nailers and all other 23-gauge straight micropin nailers. The A100509 1/2-inch Micro Pins are galvanized 23 gauge pins and packaged 2,600 pins in a convenient clam shell package.

I have used break-away pins prior to the purchase of my Porter Cable pneumatic pinner, and will likely never go back. I do have to say though, that using pins as long as the 1", make sure that you have at least 100lbs psi to work with. If not, the heads will not completely recess, at least into 3/4" red oak. Worth mentioning, they are only good to pin an item until the glue sets...if you need strength, go with at least an 18ga nailer.

Nothing wrong with the product, but I ignored other reviews of this and similar products which stated that after shipping all the rails of nails were broken apart and unusable. This is exactly what happened to me with this item. Since the other review was 2 years earlier, it is clear nothing has been done to improve this situation. I returned them, and will buy locally.
