5.0 out of 5 stars Nail gun battery
I was just happy to find a battery for our nail gun. It was easy with Amazon and it was the least expensive.

2.0 out of 5 stars Old "New" Senco 14.4v Battery from Ace Hardware, July 23, 2007
I have ordered several times from Amazon / Ace Hardware, and received exactly what I ordered. I was very satisfied. This last time I ordered a Senco VB0023 14.4 VDC battery for my Senco Nail Gun, model 41, again from ACE Hardware on the Amazon site. The first battery (sent in a sealed plastic blister pack) would not charge. The Charge light just blinked, never became a steady red, indicating a dead or faulty battery accorcing to Senco literature. I complained to ACE, and was sent a second battery, in an obviously aged but sealed paper box. This time I checked the battery's initial voltage, which should be slightly above 14.4v. It was 8.60v on my HP lab quality digital voltmeter. Again, the charge light just blinked. Let it sit an hour, still blinking. Remove, 16.0 VDC. Replace on charger, light blinks. After 10 seconds, light turns solid steady red. Leave it on. After several hours, red light off, green light on. Remove. VDC= 16.60. So, the heavily discharged second battery eventually took a charge. I will never buy an expensive rechargeable battery from ACE Hardware.
