Wisdom is timeless. So Send I You\Workmen of God falls into the catagory of a timeless work with regards to serving God. Every paragraph is a reread. When Chambers refers to our need to reach the lost he speaks of it as a matter of Spiritual Honor. To keep the message of Jesus Christ to ourselves is an unhonorable thing. The shining star of the book though is the chapter Vision, Valley, and Verity. Any one who has been in ministry very long will appreciate this as an oasis in the midst of dry place. You owe it to yourself and to those within your sphere of influence to consume this book.

For anybody who claims the church needs to be relevant to the current age and reach them with the post-modern message needs to sit down, read this short sermon "So Send I You." But as a word of caution you will read this book over and over again because you will see how far you have strayed off the God's chosen path for the believer and in a larger context the church.

I am yet to find one thing where O.C. has "missed the mark." And though I am sure anybody can look for something they may be trying to pick a splinter out of the eye while ignoring the entire forest.

Great read and a must have for the serious follow of Jesus Christ and the call of God.

I use much material from Oswald Chambers. This book is practical and can be used for young and mature Christians.
