This is "NOT" for all iPods it does not work with the iPod Touch 2G.

if you have a nano or somthing other than 5g ipod video or ipod photo, the most you will be able to do is sync and chage from your computer. you can not tell by the way it is listed here. what follow is from SendStation's web site

This PocketDock is fully compatible with the following iPod models:
* 5G iPod video
* iPod photo

All features, but NO VIDEO output is available on the following iPod models:
* 1G iPod touch
* 6G/7G iPod classic
* 4G iPod nano
* 3G iPod nano
* 2G iPod nano
* 1G iPod nano
* 4G iPod (click-wheel#
* iPod mini

When connected to the following devices, the PocketDock AV does not yet provide Line Out audio nor video output, and can be only used for sync & charge via USB:
* iPad
* iPhone #all generations#
* 3G iPod touch
* 2G iPod touch
* 5G iPod nano

3G iPod models #touch-wheel) DO NOT support USB charging NOR video output.
