5.0 out of 5 stars A Treasure of a sophmore release, June 24, 2010
This review is from: Sender of Thoughts (Audio CD)
I have the whole of Tad Morose releases. I have to say however, that of all the cd releases their debut and the second release have a unique sound both musically and lyrically that the later ones (although much heavier and faster with guitar riffs) don't have. The use of keyboard is much more prominent, but not overwhelmingly so. It is done so well that it enhances the direction the band was on in those formative stages.

I truly enjoy the later releases with the heavier sound, but somehow, I keep coming back to this one "Sender of Thoughts." Highlight (in my opinion) are "Morning Sun," "Forever Gone, and their version of "Gates of Babylon." The whole of the cd is amazing.

5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely soulworthy...., September 9, 2006

This review is from: Sender of Thoughts (Audio CD)
This album is incredibly all too real for me, & what I mean is not only is the music dark (progressively that is) & interestingly complex at times but the lyrics are like a window to my soul. I don't think there's one album I own that reflect most of my thoughts like this one, so it's kind of chilling to listen to this album with it's eerie tempos & words that just remind me of myself. Without sounding weird, this is definitely one of the best progressive albums I've ever heard, check it out!
