I really enjoy using these headphones. I use them as my main DJing headphones, and being Sennheiser HD25-1 II Closed-Back Headphones's at heart, this is the classic pair of headphones many DJ's have come to love, now with a little bit of flair.

Sound quality: Really good quality. The sound is crisp, the lows reach deep and the highs have great clarity. The sound feels very closed in though, being tightly closed headphones, so I definitely prefer my open-backed Beyerdynamic DT 990 PRO Open Studio Headphones 250 Ohms for leisurely listening. In the DJ booth, though, these sound great.

Isolation: These headphones keep out sound pretty well. As you'd expect it cannot match the isolation you'd get from most in-ear earbuds, but as far as conventional headphones go these do a great job. You'd think that over the ear headphones would do a better job than on-ear ones, but this beats out my old headphones, Audio-Technica ATH-M50 Professional Studio Monitor Headphones (excellent headphones by the way), as far as isolation goes. As for leaking sound out, I don't really care about it so I don't know (I use different earbuds when I'm on the go) but they're decent at that, too.

Comfort: They are more or less comfortable, although over time they start to get a little painful since, in the name of isolation, they clamp down on your head fairly hard.

I've had these headphones for more than a year now and they have been on the top of my headphone list ever since. The sound is as great as it gets when it comes to portable headphones. The mids and highs are extremely clear and bright. The bass, although lacking the extra boom that is popular with younger listeners, is extremely tight and accurate. For people that are looking for bass heavy headphones, look elsewhere. These will not satisfy your bass needs nor was it intended to.

I also cannot stress the durability. There are very few headphones that I toss around without worry, and these are one of them. These are unbelievably durable. A lot of people knock these headphones for being too "plasticky," but the build quality is way beyond other headphones that use an extensive metal construction. Do not be fooled by the plastic construction of these headphones. They are built like a rock.

Portability was my main goal when I began researching for headphones. I ended up buying roughly about 15 different headphones (and counting) and a slew of IEMs. At the end of the day, the HD-25s are my go-to headphones. Because of its great durability and small size, these headphones have great portability. I can easily and quickly toss them into my bag/backpack without worrying about my books smashing on top of them (though I would be cautious nonetheless) when I'm in a rush. I also travel on foot/skateboard/bike a lot and these are perfect for all three activities. Granted, they do not fold up like other portable headphones, but making space was never an issue for me.

There are a few negatives, however. The sound, although awesome, can be fatiguing for some after long periods of use. These are not your basic soft treble, soft highs, and impact-heavy bass headphones.

Not punchy or modified to excentuate any particular frequency. Very clean in design and execution. Nice set of accessories included. Not just for dj's. If you really appreciate music and the current devices for portability, you'll be cheating yourself by not owning these. Even without the pocket amps I use these with, they reproduce sound very cleanly & loudly. I've owned beats by dre, & this pair beats them out every time. It just plays they music the way it was produced without being bass heavy like the monster/ beats headphones. They are made to take abuse & sound like some of the $300 pairs I own. This is the pair I take on trips because it is the most satisfying headphone purchase that I've made.

I have to say, these are fantastic. I've compared them directly to Bose OE2's. The Bose over ear phones have superior comfort and are a bit cheaper. The Sennheiser Adidas HD 25 are noticeably superior in all other aspects, including: fashion & design, sound quality, immersion, durability, noise cancellation, and cool factor. If you want to listen to your music with clarity and joy, you'll have no regrets purchasing these.

I initially wanted to gets Beats headphones because they had a good enough reputation. But upon doing even the smallest amount of research I quickly saw they were not all they were cracked up to be or even close. I found these Sennheiser HD 25 headphones and I soon saw that if I wanted good quality headphones these are the way to go.

I noted that many people buying these are professional DJs and music producers. However, you do not need to be a professional to love and use these headphones. They are very comfortable to wear and look very cool. Even though Adidas branded headphones are more expensive than the same headphone without the brand, but I would saw the few extra bucks is worth it for the style.

These are a way better value in every way than Beats and I still like Beats. These are a great value and I could not be more pleased with them.

Bottom line, if you want great sounding and balanced audio from a great named headphone company because you actually care about clear, quality, full sounding music then you should buy these headphones.
