Though more expensive than some other models, the Sennheiser is durable, flexible, and great quality. I have had great success with this in all sorts of filming scenarios--even worked well for me when I needed a wireless mic for a panel discussion.

I'm working on a documentary film and have a couple of wireless mics, including a cheapie and this one, which obviously is a bit pricey. We wired and filmed subjects engaged in sporting events with both mics and I soon came to regret the cheapie. The Sennheiser has a better range and amazing sound. It even did well when contained in a plastic baggie during a rainstorm. Highly recommended. I almost broke it from using it so hard, but didn't. That's a true test of a mic in my book.
