Music played through these medium weight on-ear headphones is a little overly bright on the treble end of the sound spectrum, and may need the use of tone controls or an equalizer to cut it down a bit and avoid a headache from long term use. Think of fingernails on a blackboard. The overall frequency response is definitely not flat. Otherwise, the sound is clear, with plenty of detail. I think these headphones are excellent at low listening levels, but would definitely need a way to cut the treble at higher listening levels. I would give the sound a rating of four stars, as it is not flat enough for higher listening levels on a computer, where tone controls may not be available. The construction quality also rates four stars, as the headband could be wider to distribute the weight better, and the cord, while plenty long at ten feet, one inch, is rather flimsy at only 3/32 inch thick, and it is not a user replaceable plug-in. The design rates four stars as well. The earcups swivel both horizontally and vertically, and even fold inwards for storage in the included storage bag, along with the 6.3mm adapter plug. The leatherette on-ear pads are ok for short term use, but they are too thin, and the clamping pressure may require bending of the ends of the headband outward to make the headphones comfortable for long-term use, and the flimsy non-replaceable cord does not seem to be either designed or destined for a lifetime of heavy use, meaning these headphones are straying into the territory of the disposables. Comfort rates four stars, as the ear pads become sweaty with use, and the headband could be wider to support the weight on the top of your head.Read more ›
Very good sound reproduction along the full range. They have a comfortable volume range as well, but they don't get so loud as to deafen you. The padded cushions make the set comfortable enough to wear all day, but your ears may get a bit warm like they would with any closed wall pair. The rotating joints and hinges make the set comfortable to wear on a single ear as well. The pads also do a good job of canceling outside noises.
I originally bought a pair at Best Buy on clearance and my wife kept taking them so I was looking to buy a second set. Because they were an offshoot build, the HD360 was a low production run and they are sold out or overpriced in many places. Current price of this listing is $76 and they are among the best quality-for-dollar headphone purchases I've found, better than many sets at two or three times the price.
I had read about them fitting tight on some peoples heads and that had me worried as I have a moderately big head but the headphones fit fine and my head does not feel squeezed. The ear pads are very soft, I would almost say they feel 'butter soft', the over-head part feels sturdy and adjusts solidly without any slippage at this point. The cord is crazy long which I love just because I'm so sick of short cables that are never quite long enough.
As far as sound goes, the highs and mids are very clear but to be honest I hear very little bass in these but what bass I am hearing is clear and undistorted. Overall, the sound is sharp and clear and I dont need a ton of bass anyway. They fold up nicely and the carrying pouch is decent enough but not 'amazing'.
They are lightweight and at this price I doubt you could find anything near as good.
Sound quality on the headset is incredible. Some people seem to think that more bass means better sound quality, like Beats. Which are some of the worst sounding headphones I've ever used. Washing out tons of your music with absurd amounts of bass isn't what a good headset should do. I tried them out with several different genres of music ranging from Hard Rock, to Dubstep, to Metal, to Rap, to R&B, all of which sounded crystal clear.
The Sennheiser HD-360 Pro set finds a very nice balance that a lot of headphones can't seem to match. They have excellent bass response, and excellent clarity for the highs and mid-ranged tones. I bought the set for mixing and mastering music (I make music for video games I make.)
These headphones will do perfectly for getting the best possible mix together for the music I write.
For the price of these headphones, I would say you can't go wrong.

Great headphones for what I paid for them. I'd rather go with the Audio Technica M50x though, but for the price these were great headphones. Read morePublished 2 months ago by Luca A.
Wears down easily and has a ridiculously long wire attached to it. Sound quality is decent but you are better off looking elsewhere for a better product.Published 2 months ago by Bobby
Excellent sound quality, deep bass with clear sounds. The fit is great and the sound isolation is pretty decent, not total though. Read morePublished 5 months ago by LstCstLdy
