Sennheiser MX 70 Sport Stereo Earbuds with Magnetic Surfaces

I purchased these for my iPod at my local Apple store thinking they would be an upgrade to the standard fare that comes with iPods. Wow, was I wrong. These headphones are not made for human ears--I'm a guy of average build and would assume that I also have average sized ears--but these things REFUSE to stay in my ears for more than 10 seconds at a time. They constantly slip out...and that's when I am sitting at my desk at work. Add motion and sweat to the equation when I'm on the treadmill, and I practically have to hold them in for the entire half hour I am at the gym. To boot, the sound quality is mediocre. Avoid these unless you have ears the size of an elephant or if you're dead set on Sennheiser, get some other iteration of this product, because you DON'T WANT THESE!

Stay away... they keep falling out of your ears.

I have abnormally small ears and ear piercings in my cartiledge which make ear buds one of the only options for headphone comfort. These earbuds are great-- all the others fall out of my ears and these, with the larger covers to make them fit even snugger, sit wonderfully and don't fall out when I run, go to the gym, etc.

I'm a petite 20something so maybe that explains the discrepency in reviews. But I have been nothing but thrilled with these headphones. FINALLY earbuds that don't fall out of little ears!

I actually wanted the MX75 but the store didn't have them. Thought that the MX70 should be ok. That was a big mistake. Like the previous reviewer I couldn't get it to fit in the ear properly. It was constantly shifting when I was using the treadmill or weights. The issue was that the ear buds were just too big and couldn't provide a proper fit. The irony is that the original ipod headphones (the new ones for IPOD Nano) works much better! It just stays fixed even on the treadmill or outdoor runs.

the headset is all rubbery and very durable. love the rubbery earpieces as they are less likely to get worn out. also came with replacement parts and a handy rubbery puch.

Excellent headphones for ipod, much better sound quality than the cheapies packaged with new units. Can lay your head on a pillow with greater comfort, cord just the right length. Magnetic "lanyard" very handy. Feels sturdy. Green color not my first choice, but matching case solved that fashion dilemma. Highly recommend.

True to other reviews of these headphones, there are pluses and minues. The pluses, they have a cool green color, they come with an extension cord and a smaller set of rubber speaker covers, They have a low profile outside the ear so they are comfortable when laying down on a pillow (I cannot feel them in my ears hardly at all) The sound is adequate but need to fit well to have the best bass sound experience.

The minuses: they will not stay in my ears when running which made them very "unsport" headphones for me.

I bought MX70 headphones like 2 years ago. Have used them in the office, sports, travelling, sleeping, even under rain and sound quality still as good as the day I got em.
MX 70 fits my ears very good, and really love that magnetic surface since it keeps both headphones together around my neck, or in only one ear when need to do anything else.
Thinking seriously on buying a new MX70's!

I purchased these headphones at a mall in Singapore with the expectation of superior sound quality since they were the most expensive brand of Sennheiser's at the store. They are certainly better than the average $10 earphone but not worth the $40 I paid for them.

The main problem with these headphones is that they are too big. My ears are larger than most but these phones barely fit in them. Since the phones are so big, they don't sit deep enough into the outer-ear and thus sound somewhat tinny.

The headphones sounded better when I used my fingers to press them into my ears which leads me to believe that these phones could be a lot better if they were a bit smaller. They came with a few different rubber "rings" but even with the smallest ring, they were still too big.

Also, the right earphone stopped functioning after 6 months of moderate use. To be fair, I've never owned a pair of earbuds that lasted long than a year, but one would expect tougher materials to be used with more expensive earbuds.

this things are terrible they just won't stay in your ears.i got a heat rash in my ears just for me to keep them on. please don't buy not even if thier 3 cents.
