Amazon.com Product Description

Designed to keep you grooving during athletic activity, Sennheiser's MXL70V Sport Line Earphones with Integrated Lanyard and Magnetic Surfaces give you exceptional sound when you're working out. Featuring a patented ultra-lightweight, flexible construction and packaged with a cable clip and an ear adapter set to adapt the size of the ear buds, the MXL70V offers a perfect fit for optimum comfort and stability while avoiding interference with your movements. In addition, magnetic surfaces on the back of each earphone and on the volume control let you fix your earphones in place when they aren't in use, letting you avoid the problem of dangling earphones. For added stability, the built-in lanyard is designed for looping around your MP3 player, giving your player added protection from bumps and falls. And with powerful neodymium magnets in the earphone speakers, the MXL70V gives you incredible detailed sound reproduction.

Design
Like all the earphones in Sennheiser's Sport Line collection, the MXL70V is designed for rugged indoor and outdoor activity. Whether you're in the dance studio, on the running trail, or in the weight room, you can stay focused through your entire workout with your favorite music. The MXL70V is also sweat and water resistant, so you can extend the life of your earphones by washing them. And when you're not listening to your portable device, coil up your earphones and store them in the protective carrying case included with purchase so that they don't get tangled up with your keys, cell phone, or other accessories.

Intended Use
Of course, you can also listen to tunes while you're running errands or just relaxing. The MXL70V is great for use with all MP3, CD, DVD, and MD players, as well as with all portable game systems. So now you can get great sound and stay connected and entertained no matter what you're doing.

3.0 out of 5 stars OK- Fits VERY specific sized and shaped ears, February 5, 2007
This review is from: Sennheiser MXL 70V Sport Line Stereo Earbuds with Integrated Lanyard (Electronics)
I bought these first as a gift for my boyfriend. They didn't fit his ear-holes so I thought they were "OK" and kept them. They are just that "OK". They do fall out of my ears when I talk or move my mouth. **DO NOT DO ANYTHING CONDUCTING ELECTRICITY WITH THEM IN!** I frequently have them in while walking on the carpet and your ears get zapped because of the metal mesh on the earphones where they sound comes out. The magnetic surface on the lanyard is a unique idea that could use a little improvement, but the clip on the back of the magnetic surface is great to attach to a sleeve or collar. The option to use the longer cord is nice as well. I tend not to use the extension when working out with an MP3 player on my arm (the extra length isn't needed and not having cords bunched on your arm is quite nice). The ones I bought for my boyfriend in the end were the Twist-To-Fit and I found they were better for me.

I have used these headphones for 3-4 months now and have been very happy with them. They have a great sound quality and fit very comfortably. The volume control on the lanyard is a great idea that allows me to immediately drown out the grunters who inevitably choose the machine next to me.

This was a great purchase with no regrets.

4.0 out of 5 stars high qual, little flaws, September 27, 2007
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Sennheiser MXL 70V Sport Line Stereo Earbuds with Integrated Lanyard (Electronics)
I am working out with Nordic Walking or commuting by bike. My needs, having ear-buds that could not easily fall off and Volume control handy seem to be covered by this Sennheiser product. Testing it for 4 weeks confirmed the supreme standard of Sennheiser products also the lanyard and analog volume control - I use a 1GB Maxfield Flash MP3 player - but sorry to tell, I wear the player in a arm-wrap-around velcro-closed carry case, the provided extension cable is too long and the jack cable going into the volume control is too short.
After using it now for 5 month I frequently faced the fact that the earbuds tent to fall out because they are to big - there is not additional silicon ring for adjusting to several earhole sizes...
Sennheiser could easily fix this by adding by 2 inches and adjusting rings.... quote: 80%.
