5.0 out of 5 stars Great product
I have used these headphones for 3-4 months now and have been very happy with them. They have a great sound quality and fit very comfortably. The volume control on the lanyard is a great idea that allows me to immediately drown out the grunters who inevitably choose the machine next to me.

This was a great purchase with no regrets.

3.0 out of 5 stars OK- Fits VERY specific sized and shaped ears
I bought these first as a gift for my boyfriend. They didn't fit his ear-holes so I thought they were "OK" and kept them. They are just that "OK". They do fall out of my ears when I talk or move my mouth. **DO NOT DO ANYTHING CONDUCTING ELECTRICITY WITH THEM IN!** I frequently have them in while walking on the carpet and your ears get zapped because of the metal mesh...

3.0 out of 5 stars OK- Fits VERY specific sized and shaped ears, February 5, 2007

I bought these first as a gift for my boyfriend. They didn't fit his ear-holes so I thought they were "OK" and kept them. They are just that "OK". They do fall out of my ears when I talk or move my mouth. **DO NOT DO ANYTHING CONDUCTING ELECTRICITY WITH THEM IN!** I frequently have them in while walking on the carpet and your ears get zapped because of the metal mesh on the earphones where they sound comes out. The magnetic surface on the lanyard is a unique idea that could use a little improvement, but the clip on the back of the magnetic surface is great to attach to a sleeve or collar. The option to use the longer cord is nice as well. I tend not to use the extension when working out with an MP3 player on my arm (the extra length isn't needed and not having cords bunched on your arm is quite nice). The ones I bought for my boyfriend in the end were the Twist-To-Fit and I found they were better for me.

4.0 out of 5 stars high qual, little flaws, September 27, 2007

I am working out with Nordic Walking or commuting by bike. My needs, having ear-buds that could not easily fall off and Volume control handy seem to be covered by this Sennheiser product. Testing it for 4 weeks confirmed the supreme standard of Sennheiser products also the lanyard and analog volume control - I use a 1GB Maxfield Flash MP3 player - but sorry to tell, I wear the player in a arm-wrap-around velcro-closed carry case, the provided extension cable is too long and the jack cable going into the volume control is too short.
After using it now for 5 month I frequently faced the fact that the earbuds tent to fall out because they are to big - there is not additional silicon ring for adjusting to several earhole sizes...
Sennheiser could easily fix this by adding by 2 inches and adjusting rings.... quote: 80%.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great pair of running headphones, May 24, 2007
This review is from: Sennheiser MXL 70V Sport Line Stereo Earbuds with Integrated Lanyard (Electronics)
I have had them for a few weeks and use them when I go running. The sound is good. They stay in place. They are lightweight. I like the flexibility the extension cord provides.

This review is from: Sennheiser MXL 70V Sport Line Stereo Earbuds with Integrated Lanyard (Electronics)
i bought these as a second set to the wrap around model, i thought they would be good for around the house, boy was i wrong. Not only are they a mess to try and put on, but the ear piece's are huge, i'm a big guy with big ears and these are way to big. all they do is fall out. worst headphone ever......

4.0 out of 5 stars Good sound, November 21, 2011

So i received this item 2 days after I ordered it (I am a Prime member). So shipping wasn't an issue. I read these headphones weren't good for working out as they were too big and fell out all the time. The price of them just dropped to 10 bucks a pop but at the original price I wouldn't have tried them.

I have had the chance to try them. I ordered my first set 10/28/11 then another 11/1/11 because the sound quality by Sennheiser is just outstanding. For 10 bucks I decided I better jump on them.

Here are the cons:

1) They are very large so DO NOT order them if you have small ears they just won't fit.
2) The color. The only color available is that horrid green so unless you don't care that you have green around your head then...

I walk/jog around a dog park when I use them and I must admit they do fall out when I go too fast or jostle them too much and I can only keep one in but that's good since I need to listen for my dogs anyway. I do wish there were sound isolating earbuds. They did sell them before but no longer do.

1.0 out of 5 stars Terrible durability!, October 28, 2011

I used this product a couple of times while riding my motorcycle and its already broken. It is torn where the thin green cable meets the 3.5mm plug. I purchased these because I figured the buds would stay in my ear while jogging or cutting the grass and they don't. I should have gone with the CXL400! I use this with the S705 soundpilot.

1.0 out of 5 stars DONT BUY!, July 15, 2010
This review is from: Sennheiser MXL 70V Sport Line Stereo Earbuds with Integrated Lanyard (Electronics)
I bought these because my other earphones suddenly quit and I needed something for going to the gym. I figured the $60 price tag wouldnt be too bad for earphones designed for sport use. While the design is okay (though the center clip is positioned poorly), and the earphones look cool, they do not stay in the ear even just when sitting. I REALLY wanted them to work because the sound quality was good, but every 5seconds on the treadmill they fall out. This quickly became extremely annoying. I even tried using my foam covers from my other earphones but nothing seemed to solve the problem.

The only good thing about these, is that if you're lucky enough that they somehow stay in your ear, the magnetic strips on the sides of the earphones are cool and keep them from getting tangled.

I returned these the same day I bought them, and while I had to pay a restocking fee (>.>), at least I was able to get some money back. I went with the cheap Sony earphones and shake my head all I want, they don't come out.

Basically, if you are interested in these, DONT buy them online. Try to find them in store, and ask the sales associate to let you try the fit. It's just not worth throwing away money on something you can't even try to make work. I learned my lesson the hard way by not searching these online before buying them.

1.0 out of 5 stars Waste of money, June 18, 2008
This review is from: Sennheiser MXL 70V Sport Line Stereo Earbuds with Integrated Lanyard (Electronics)
These are probably the biggest waste of money I have ever spent. The concept is great, but they need to go back to the drawing board on these. The ear plugs do not stay in the ears. They are extremely large and keep falling out. Dont waste your money.

This is a good brand name, I have purchased many headphones from them, but these are horrible.

1.0 out of 5 stars Too Big and Annoying, June 3, 2008

Dj Italian (Sydney, Australia) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Sennheiser MXL 70V Sport Line Stereo Earbuds with Integrated Lanyard (Electronics)
Bought these for sporting purpose as i like to cycle and go to the gym weekly. Good sound but only stays in my ears for 30 seconds at a time. Cord is too short to have an IPOD in your pocket and the extension cord is too long to have in your pocket. I am not happy with them at all and i strongly recommend not to buy them, The CX500 is much better and more feasible for athletics or general use. Thank you - John
