5.0 out of 5 stars Versatile, Comfortable, High quality!!
I recently discovered this headset and I bought it immediately. I was in search of something I could use for both my cell phone and my laptop. If you're looking for the same thing you know how frustrating it is to find something that has both a 2.5mm headset jack and 1/8in microphone/headphone jacks for your computer.

This product proved to be great on my cell phone. I like the style, the flexibility and it's versatility. I also like the fact that it's one sided and ear hanging, so it doesn't leave my hair ironed down after I take it off. I would have given it a 5...

I recently discovered this headset and I bought it immediately. I was in search of something I could use for both my cell phone and my laptop. If you're looking for the same thing you know how frustrating it is to find something that has both a 2.5mm headset jack and 1/8in microphone/headphone jacks for your computer.

This headset has both!!

It comes in two segments. The headset is attached to a 4 foot wire that ends with a 2.5mm plug. I put the headset on my ear, plug it into my cell phone, and put my phone in my pocket. It's the perfect length ~ no extra wire.

This 2.5mm jack can be plugged into the second segment of cord for use on a computer. This cord has a mute switch for the microphone and a volume knob to adjust how loud the earbud is. It's 6 feet and plugs into the headphone and microphone inputs in your laptop or computer.

This second segment is what makes this headset so VALUABLE. I used to use two different headsets, one for my computer and one for my cell phone. It was IMPOSSIBLE to find an adapter that would allow me to use one headset for both. This headset solves my problem.

I gave this headset 5 stars because it's a fantastic product. It's made by Sennheiser; designed and engineered in Denamark. These guys have certainly mastered the headset. You'll notice the quality of the headset the instant you pull it out of the packaging. The moving parts are well-constructed and it feels very difficult to break. Plus it's one of the best-looking headsets on the market!

Using the PC 120 has made a huge difference in the quality of my conversations. I can't say enough good things about it! Get one for yourself, I bet you'll love it :)

The only problem I have with it is that on PC communications (I'm a heavy IP telephony user), people always complain that my voice is too low. Sometimes so low that they don't hear me and just hang up. When they do hear me, they tell me that the voice sounds neat, but low.

So I have to yell sometimes so thay can hear me. Frustrating.

How do I know it's the headset? The complaints started after the headset. And (I've got a laptop) when I unplug it from the microphone jack and use the built in mic, the complaints go away. Sometimes I've had to run conversations using the headset and the PC mic. Which is sad, because I really like the device look and feel.

All of which, leaves me no choice than to give it a 3. It's not excellent, and I can't even use it as intended so can't earn a 4 either. Pitty.

This thing doesn't stay in or on my ear no matter what I try. Sound quality is good if I hold it in place.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not very ergonomic at all, March 26, 2007

If the thing actually fit my ear, I'm sure I would have loved it. This headset wants a bigger ear than I have, that's for sure. If I hook it around my ear in the way that feels most comfortable, the little soundpiece hits below my ear canal, meaning that I cannot hear anything. If I jam the soundpiece *into* my ear (which is seriously uncomfortable and takes some work because it's too large to fit in there easily!), the ear-hook doesn't even touch the top of my ear. Just poor design overall.

On the positive side, seemed to be sufficient for Skype (which is what I had bought it for). Wouldn't recommend it for listening to music, of course; turns anything bass into tinny sound.

In any case, I need to find the packaging so I can send this back. :(

This headset is small, versatile (PC, cell phone or cordless phone).

It is pretty comfortable, though after an hour gets a little annoying.

On the sound quality side it is good if the volume is pretty low. Otherwise the other side complains on echo (hearing themselves).

4.0 out of 5 stars Very nice look. But mic quality could be better for SKYPE use., June 12, 2006

used it for skype. great form factor and design. but mic sound quality could be better. I compared it with a over the head headset from Labtec, and the Labtec was deemed better voice quality from the person I was talking too. good deal now though. get it while it lasts.

The product is alright. If you get hold of the vendor for this item you will have better luck getting Help from a brick wall. They need a lot of Customer Service work.

Nobody can hear me, but I can hear everyone! Great incoming sound, but the outgoing is wretched. Also, as someone else mentioned, the earpiece (the part that actually goes into your ear) is HUGE. I don't know that anyone has ears quite that large. I can still hear fine, though.

Would I recommend? Probably not.

I use this headset for my laptop when I travel. Now if your looking for top quality sound for gaming or music, yeah.....why would u buy this? For softphones it works great, the mic is of good quality and the earpiece is comfortable. The option of moving from right to left is quick and very useful. The cord is really long, too long for me, but thats opinion. I give it 5 stars, cause what I get for the money, well is worth every penny. Thats a perfect score in my book :)
