I was really excited to see these HD600s at $210, so much so that I didn't notice the "Reconditioned" part. Oh well.. aside from the a UPC sticker on the product's box with a "REFURBISHED" label on it, I can't tell these apart from new. These headphones are everything that the new ones are, which is to say that they're fantastic. They look good, are lightweight and amazingly comfortable, and above all, they sound awesome--worth every penny.

Once you experience Sennheiser's HD600, THERE IS NO GOING BACK! Other headphones are simply no longer adequate. I paired the HD600 with Headroom's Supreme Headphone Amp and the results will leave you speechless. The only downside is that these cans will reveal the compression tradeoffs of lower bitrate tracks (read 128mb/s) when used with mp3 players. Basically, you will be forced to begin the process of replacing these tracks with better rips. The results, however, are truly worth it.

At the price, these are a very good deal. Don't worry about them being remanufactured, I've compared them to new, and there are no cosmetic or performance differences. Compared to my AKG501s, these headphones have much greater bass impact. Highs are very clear (without being edgy) and mids are smooth and well-defined. They are somewhat difficult to power so be prepared to use them with a separate headphone amp (not a portable amp like a CMOY) or a high quality receiver/amp jack. I use a REGA Ear, and they sound lovely. They are among the most comfortable headphones you can buy. The cloth earpiece covers are very soft and aren't too warm. I can wear the headphones for hours - you just sort of forget they are there. One word of warning, if you are a late night listener, you may find yourself staying up later and later - they are very addictive.

What can I say more about this phone?It has nothing to prove that it's one of the best headphone you can get right now.If you can get this hi-end product in such a low price,what are you waiting for?Go get one for yourself.

It really has no differeneces between the recondtional one and the brand new one.You will get everything just as what you'll get from a brand new one.You can even smell it just like a brand new one.

These are the best... truest... most comfortable (can wear for long periods without fatigue)... that I have ever used. I am a musician and have been recording for over 20 years....

This will be short and sweet. That might be a great definition of this head-set.

Let me just say that this set will make you go back and listen again because you did not think that it was right of what you heard. This is true. I am McIntosh and ADS/B&W oriented.
They do bring out the warmth of my system. Buy these, you will be very happy.

Wow what amazing sound. I have never heard a better set of earphones. Six Start. So crisp and fine. Even the most subtle sounds are detected. Well worth the price.

Very clear across the spectrum, thrives on my Klipsch computer speakers' headphone amp, makes iPod tunes sound real good and I don't mind being wired to my work stations. Really marvellous sound. And for 56% off a helluva deal!

I love to listen music everyday! When I come to school or work morning I usually listen music with stereo headpnones. My own headpones are cheap and not good. One day, I tried my friend Factory Reconditioned Sennheiser HD600 Over-the-Ear Open Hi-Fi Professional Stereo Headphones. I couldn't believe my ears! Sound was so excelent, real and pure! How they have ever succeeded to make so perfect headphones. Your engineers must be genious! These headphones are comfortably to wear and use! My friend who is a hifi-man also loves these and it means that these should almost best headphones what you can get.
