8/10 This is a good product good price!, September 4, 2005

Do not listen to the negative reviews here. I shopped and shopped and read and read and really could not decide which headphones to purchase. I heard the IR headsets were better because you didnt receive interference, i heard that some headsets dont fit well because their flat, i heard that some are really static-y ,, but this one is great. I bought it at circuit city for $80 just to try and will return it so I can buy it hear for $48!! THis is a good piece of equipment. If I had to choose something negative about this product, it would be that it does not have a charging station, but hey you can get a four pack of rechargeable AAA batteries for $10-12 at the store! Great buy!

Round 1: The package came with NO manufacturer documentation, and a "universal adapter" that didnt even adapt to the headphones it came with. I took up Amazon on their return policy, and ordered a replacement. Round 2: This package had less in it than the first one. No documentation, no adapter, nothing. I spent $8 buying an adapter only to find out that the headphones didn't work. I was happily listening to music while walking around the house when a screaming loud blast of white noise almost knocked me over. I hadn't returned the first set yet, so i tried switching out the base units. Same thing. Repeatedly. I tried switching channels, changing the location of the base unit, and an impromptu prayer session. My advice: leave this page before you are tempted to buy one of these headphones. They arent worth $10, let alone what they are listed at. For myself, I will never buy a product from Sennheiser again.

OK ...if you're sitting still, October 6, 2005

I own wireless headphones made by JVC and Jensen. I bought the Sennheiser headphones primarily for listening to TV and audio books while working in the yard and inside the house. The listening range in my environment is very good... up to 100 ft (not all directions) without static or dropouts. The sound quality is acceptable for my application, but not up to audiophile quality. My complaint is that the headset and earcups fit poorly if you intend to move around. If you bend over, the headphones slide off. The ear cushions are flat and pivot only in the vertical direction. They should cup the ears and pivot in all directions like the JVCs. The headband does not conform to the head. The design assumes people have slanted ears like Spock's. A manual did not come with the headphones, nor was there one available on the manufacturer's web site. I was hoping to find some tips on how to wear them.
