I recently purchased the Sennheiser Wireless Headphone set for TV listening at bedtime and am very satisfied with my choice. In order to not disturb other folks in my household I shopped on Amazon for private listening devices that suited my needs. Cheaper versions I'm sure are quite adequate but I chose the Sennheiser primarily for one reason, its base/transmitter unit plugs into a wall outlet and does not operate by battery. The cheaper versions did so that meant that after you were finished viewing, if you didn't get up and turn it off, your batteries would run out quite quickly. After I'm done, I just turn the headset off, put it aside and turn over and snuggle down to sleep...no getting up to turn off the transmitter. The next morning, I simply return the headset to the transmitter and the red charger light goes on. If I had anything negative to say about it,(and it in no way interferred with its performance), was when I picked up the headset the next morning, the small black dial button that controls the balance fell out. I quickly lined it up, pushed it back in place and its not happened again.
