Hi there, I'm currently using a single Sennheiser e835 Dynamic microphone. It delivers professional quality sound. Now when you hear that, your thinking... it means whatever your mind wants it to mean. Basically when i say its got professional quality, i mean.. it'll suite you... for whatever you have to record. It does an amazing job for my podcasting studio delivering great variance between highs and lows. As long as your between 1-4 inches from the mic you will get amazing quality sound, everything outside that will be ignored. I often times have my tv going, my music playing or i'm having a conversation at the same time as having a podcast, and all i have to do is move the mic away from my mouth. The 10 year warrenty is very good, and the construction of this microphone screams nothing but quality. The Shure Sm57 and 58 havn't been changed since.. *cough* 1957 and 1958. In these last 40-50 years we've come up with a lot of better tech to go into a mic, this microphone hosts some of that. The cage on top is also much more durable than the Shure models. I believe i'll be happy to have this microphone for 10+ years.

Besides the good sound quality which I already expected from a Sennheiser, its best feature is that it doesn't bring you all that noise as you handle the mic (or clip it on a stand): its body is very silent. I found the audio response very plain (better than Shure SM58, in my opinion). And I hope not to use its 10-year warranty. This 3-pack makes the mic very affordable. Was a good purchase.

I find this product to be very clear with no feedback at all. Singers love them, as we bought two sets (sin in all).

Excellent microphone, very quiet (nearly no handling noise), great response, excellent feedback rejection, and road worthy. Very little proximity effect, so, this takes getting used to, if you expect a bass enhancement by closing in on the mic. A little heavier than an SM-58. The three pack makes this a very good deal. These are excellent in our church (instrument-violin, guitar, flute - as well as vocal use), and at gigs (acoustic guitar, mando, and vocal). All around fine microphone. I was dissappointed that there was no documentation with the mic's; the mics were very well packed in a special foam box, including mic clips and mic pouches.

My Sennheiser 835s are 9 years old, so understand that this review is written well past the honeymoon period. They have been tested.

The first time I used then, we hooked these up and some Shure SM58s and compared them side by side. The Shures were louder, and that was enough for our lead singer to decide he wanted to use them. I wasn't as convinced because I was looking more for tone than volume.

My mic collection includes EVs, AKGs, Nadys (surprisingly good for the $), an SM57, an SM58 and a few others. The 835 is the best sounding dynamic mic I have ever used or heard. It is not as loud as the Shures, but it is not hurting for volume and it delivers a much, much warmer sound. It beats everything else every time.

I'm a professional singer, and i can say that senheisser is the best brand for microphones. Although, this pack brings NO cables. Still, is a wonderful item.

Since being introduced to these by a pro audio dealer, they are all I have bought for vocal mics. Clean, smooth, strong rejection of feedback and an exceptional price in the 3 pack. You can pay more but for an all round vocal mic, I think you can't go wrong with Sennheiser e835's.

The best money that I ever spent on band equipment. The low price for the three pack was totaly unbelievable. The sound that I get without feeding back is what I have been looking for along time. The quality of the sound for both man and woman with the same mic I didn't think it was possible. There is a huge differance between my old Bingo mics and the Sennheisers. Sennheiser sure got this one right for the price.

Can't go wrong with these! NOT MD 46's (industry standard, but handy in my TV bag.

I I tested the Audix OM2, the Shure SM58, and the Sennheiser e835 as all were in my price range. I loved the sound of this mic. It was rich, bright, and was not dry like the SM58. I ended up buying the Audix for my Karaoke Business (given the drunk nature of karaoke-ers!) and I bought this 3 Pack for my Dad's Church. They are currently using these mics anyways so a 3 pack was a no brainer. We found a store that sold the mic such that we got 3 for the price of 2. I was pleased. Given the presence this mic gives when spoken into it was easy to purchase this mic. I highly recommend it over both the Audix and Shure. I tested these mics right next to each other and you could tell the difference. It was very noticable. The 835 was the best sounding, and the Audix was pretty sweet too. and for the price. i was sold!
