Book Description

January 15, 2001 0471249300 978-0471249306 5
This book combines sensation and perception with all biological-sensory aspects of perception with all biological-sensory aspects of perception covered from an evolutionary point of view. It raises the key question: How do the senses gather and secure information about the outside world? This basic question is addressed by explaining how the physical world interacts with and stimulates the senses, and, in turn, how the sense and the nervous system transform, integrate, and process the stimulation.

5.0 out of 5 stars MUY RECOMENDADO, November 22, 2009
This review is from: Sensation and Perception: An Integrated Approach (Hardcover)

I bought this book here in Ecuador in Spanish-translated from the fifth edition. I was looking for a book about perception and cognisción and I found did not convince me at all, they provided technical terms and a lot of theory that only a professional could understood. I'm a designer and infographist designer and I must say that this book is what I needed. Dr. Richard Harvey S. has sought to explain in very clear and interesting concepts and references on sensation and perception of our senses. And above all it has graphics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!... I recommend it .!!!!
