This review is from: Sensation & Perception, Second Edition (Hardcover)
This is an easy to understand textbook. The diagrams are all very helpful and I never came across one that caused confusion. The information is presented in a way that holds your interest. Although there most of the book is dedicated to the psychology of vision, but that area has much more research behind it than the other senses so that is to be expected.
I would classify this as an introduction to perceptual psychology, but that does not mean that it feels incomplete. There is a lot of in-depth information in here, but it still very easy to understand.

It's pretty well written. After you read each chapter, you'll get a feeling of satisfaction that you're actually learning something (unlike other psychology books that I've read.)

One of the best books I got in college!,
This review is from: Sensation & Perception, Second Edition (Hardcover)
Although I am not a psychology major, I took a Psychology of Perception class with this as a textbook. I found it very easy to understand, while still providing accurate and detailed information. I have kept this book as a reference, and have goon back to it several times.
