I've tried most of the Senseo coffees, as well as many others that fit a Senseo machine. Cafe Noir is the best. Full bodied and smooth, but without any harshness.

This was a very full bodied coffee. Very good with light milk. I think it is my favorite so far. I love dark roast coffee, so this hits the spot.

Senseo is expanding their assortment of coffee pods and this one is a winner. The flavor is dark but very smooth. It makes a great after dinner coffee with dessert. Add some warm milk and it tastes like a store bought latte. I highly recommend this coffee.

To copy what someone else wrote- it is full bodied, rich and smooth. I got my Senseo machine from Costco and that came with 6-7 flavors I think. I have also tried another 3 flavors. After reading reviews on the cafe Noir I decided to try it for my next purchase and so glad I did. Two thumbs up!

It is my favorite choice by far. I read a question from someone asking how this compares to the Dark Roast. I find the cafe Noir to be much much smoother. So out of the approximately 10 flavors I have tried,I prefer this one the most by a wide margin.

THE best senseo out here, it's often sold out online, so rich and full bodied, and very smooth, with just a brief note of chocolate. Love it!! Get it while you can. It's been discontinued now, and the only stock available now are the pods that expire Dec 2009.

the first cup convinced me this is the best Senseo flavor. I have tried them all.

I like a good dark coffee, but this one lacks body and is a bit on the acidic side. I prefer the dark roast.

Not bad, but still "watery".

This is good coffee but there is not enough in the pod to make it a great coffee... always have the same impression as the one you get with the "regular Senseo" pods, though it is obvious the blend is far more serious than the Senseo "Dark Roast" that is available at the grocery store down the road.

Makes a decent short expresso, but I will not order again unless the price comes down to something less "exclusive" for a coffee pod that is probably not worth what they are asking for.

This is premium coffee. Not bitter at all. I love it in the morning.

If you like french roast, you will love these pods. A very full bodied and rich flavor of french roast coffee. One of the strongest flavored pods I have tried. Very enjoyable!
