These are nearly as good as any I've found, and much less expensive than many other brands. I use one of these and one espresso pod in a 2 cup holder on the 2 cup medium size setting. I run water through the machine first, and I dampen the top pod (tricks I've learned from reading other reviews/tips here for this machine). After this whole process, which really only takes minimal time, it makes a very good cup of coffee, in my opinion.

My husband's favorite coffee! If you like a dark, french roast- you'll like this one, plus it has the terrific Senseo creamy foam on top! A nice way to start the morning or finish off a great evening meal.

As the popularity of the Senseo pod system wanes and that of the Keurig system grows, there is diminished availability of pods that fit the Senseo. The Senseo brand pods are available on Amazon at a decent price. Unfortunately, the Senseo pods are not as good as competing brands formerly available on Amazon such as Fratello, Halo, Millstone, etc. Of the Senseo pods, the French Roast has a richer flavor than most of the others. It is often on sale and is a bargain when that happens. I suspect that the Keurig system makes good coffee, but I cannot imagine paying so much for a Keurig pod (thimble).

Now days it's a little hard to find these, so it's good that I can do a subscription on these. As long as my senseo machine still works even after many years, I will continue to purchase the pods. No need to buy anything fancy.

Senseo pods can be a little hard to find in the grocery stores. I can remember searching many times and being disappointed. It is so nice to have them arrived on schedule every month and know I can have my coffee without any hassle! Thanks Amazon!

The ease of use and excellent taste make the senseo coffee pods well worth the money! Perfect for the casual coffee drinker, especially if you just want a cup or two to take on the go.

To start on the correct way
You must drink a cup of coffee, in order to be satisfied that the day must choose one of the finest coffee (and easy to prepare at the same time)
Has been the experience of many types of coffee products ((did not find a tastier and purer product senseo coffee)

I have been enjoying my coffee maker and pods for years. The Senso dark roast is one of the best flavor of pods I have tried. I like being able to make a cup at a time and alwyas drink fresh, hot coffee.

Went for economy in latest order and got the 6 pack as I could not recall what Dark Roast tasted like. Counted on all the positive reviews, but we all have different palates, don't we? I prefer Senseo's Kenya or Sumatra as a more reliably flavorful brew with Sumatra probably my favorite. Just opened my first of six bags, so I have a ways to go before I get to the end of my "bargain" purchase of a brew that is weak and one-dimensional. I guess I will have to play with the amount of water and pods as other reviewers suggest to try to get something strong enough to satisfy. Just can't throw it all out!
