I just completed reading "Sensing Your Hidden Presence Toward Intimacy With God" and I immediately started to read it again from the first page. The Spanish author leads you through many reflections that challenges the reader's prayer life as to what it is, and to what it can be. Many biblical quotes are inter-dispersed in the book along with relevent passages/quotes from St. John of the Cross, St. Therese Avila, St. Francis and St. Therese Lisieux. A very thoughtful book full of wisdom articulated in a very pleasant and readable style. I was drawn to his discourses on God, prayer, and spiritual insights. An excellent read where the awe and wonder of God can help transform us through a more intimate experience of God.
