This grille cycles on and off - gets to temperature quickly and then cycles off. I kept track of the time it was "off" and it was 1 minute, 7 seconds. By that time, the food had cooled and was not cooking properly. I already returned one of these thinking it was defective, but the replacement does the same thing. Not a good purchase for me.
