Yes, it's a cute concept & the 1st batch actually turned out. Followed the directions to a tee, yet the 2nd batch came out a gooey mess. They were done on the outsides, & completely raw on the inside on 5 out of the 8 brownies. The other 3 were done perfectly despite the exact same amount of batter being placed in each slot. I used a scoop to make sure of that.

Things to be aware of before purchasing: 1. Requires you to have something beneath it other than your counter top, as it may marr or darken the counter top if not. 2. Requires cleaning & spraying the top, bottom plate, and the insert each time. No problem on the top & bottom plate, but the insert is a pain. 3. If you have extra brownie batter left over for any less than a full batch, it says NOT to make them, so that wastes the remaining brownie batter. After trying this device, I could just as easily have turned on the oven & baked a full batch in a pan faster. Frosted them when cool & cut them. Less work & you get at least 4 crusty edged brownies.

PROS: No oven required, or heating up the house. Brownies are pre-cut (provided they turn out). Cute factor.

CONS: Time consuming. More time required for clean-up in between & after. Spraying or coating with Crisco or your preferred brand each time. If baked in a pan, requires spraying or coating ONCE only. No crispy edges like I thought there would be, I happen to like the corners best. Waste of good brownie batter (especially homemade) if you have any less than a full batch to put in the Bella Cucina Brownie maker. Must be careful, even if they've cooked for 8 minutes & been allowed to sit for 1 additional minute. Once you've lifted the insert IF the insides aren't done, too late no matter how careful you were; to re-insert & continue baking.

This Sensio Brownie Maker is capable of making perfectly baked brownies, but it is important to fully read the directions and properly maintain the unit. My daughter was given one of these as a gift, along with several packs of "Double-Fudge Brownie Mix", and has made four really good batches for us at home. Setting up and using this is fairly easy and thanks to the non-stick surface, clean up is also straight forward.

This self contained appliance is very good for my daughter since she is in a college dorm where she doesn't have access to a regular oven and it is something fun she can do with her roommates.

Recommended!

I just got this as a holiday gift and tested it out this morning. While I had no brownie mix, I did have blueberry muffin mix. I figured "it's just a mini griddle/oven...why not?" I followed the directions and got the cutest little muffin squares! The second batch I forgot to spray the bottom and had to use a toothpick to release them without tearing them.

That being said, you MUST read the directions before cooking. Be sure to spray everything with oil. Also, do not just fill the bottom with batter then insert the dividers... you must spoon the batter into the dividers otherwise you get wasted batter because the dividers to not go all the way to the edges of the bottom pan. I guess you could call these "taste testing pieces" tho :-P.

It's a cute little machine and I can't wait to see what other little snacks I can make with it. Perfect for someone who only needs to make single servings or is watching their weight (it's easier to eat one or two little brownies as opposed to one large one or, even worse, leaving the 13x9 pan on the counter to freely cut your own size.) Portion control!

P.S. - I uploaded a picture, too.

Perhaps I should have given more attention to the dimensions of this little appliance (LITTLE being the key word). The impression that the image gives is that this is a great way to bake 8 well formed brownies. It is, instead, a way to bake brownies that are no bigger than an ICE-TRAY. I was very disappointed with how incredibly small it is. Waste of time.

I wasn't expecting much out of this little thing, but it sure surprised me! I got it for Christmas and just got around to trying it out. I used the aldi brownie mix, which is my favorite, and mixed it as directed. I preheated the bella brownie maker, sprayed with non stick cooking spray and put about a tablespoon of batter into each rectangle, using a spoon to get it all out of my measuring spoon. They came out perfect! It made 24 brownies and I had a little batter leftover. It says not to make the rest if you don't have enough to fill all 8 rectangles, but I didn't want to waste it so I tried it anyway. It was fine. Same amount of time and they were perfect too. So all together I got 27 perfect brownies. The only fault I could find with this thing was trying to clean the insert. It was really tough to get it clean. Then I read the directions and it says it's top rack dishwasher safe (just the insert, obviously) so I threw it in there. Perfect!

UPDATE:
Tonight was the second time I've used the Bella Brownie Maker and I wasn't as pleased with the results. The first time I used a cheap Aldi mix. This time I used Ghiradelli Double Chocolate mix. The cheap mix worked a lot better and it made more brownies too. I only got about 22 brownies out of the more expensive mix. They taste good, just more bang for my buck from the cheap mix.
