After years of sawing away with a conventional toothbrush, my dentist recommended an electric toothbrush. The standard Oral-B refills work good, but tend to be a little hard on my gums, resulting in occasional irritation.
Enter the Oral-B Extra Soft refills; with these I get the same quality cleaning as with the standard refills, but without any gum irritation whatsoever! My gums had continued to erode/recede until I started using these brush heads, but now seem to have stopped. If you have similar issues, you may want to try this product - it does a great job cleaning as well, the bristles are very flexible and reach deep between teeth!

This brush head is very gentle yet seems to clean better than the Pro White brushheads, which are much harder. I don't think I have sensitive gums, but the harder brushheads tends to hurt my gums. This brushhead is smaller than Pro White and FlossAction and it is more gentle than both. I have used both Pro White and FlossAction, but I don't think I need them any more after tried this one out.

When I went to my trusty major drug store, where I have always gotten the best deals, they wanted $27.00 for one of these brushes! I got three of them for $8.78 including shipping from Amazon. From everything I can tell, these are real Oral-B parts. Incredible! And really fast shipping to boot....

These brush refills are softer than the standard refills. They do a much better job massaging gums and getting in between teeth. I don't have sensitive gums or teeth, but I still like the Extra Soft refills, and it is all I use now.

The OralB-Extra Soft Sensitive Electric Toothbrush refill is great. Very good for sensitive teeth. Also easy on the gums.

I have been using the Oral-B rechargable toothbrust for 2 years now. I must say it is the best toothbrush. I have had gum replacement surgery because I tend to brush too hard, causing receding gums. This toothbrush helps to deter this and the brush heads are soft, but not so soft where my tooth do not feel clean. Love the clean feeling and the ease of use and the fact they reach hard to reach places as well. I would recommend this product to everyone, it is a bargain compared to other electronic toothbrushes. Have purchased these brushes before - very gentle on the gums, does a great cleaning job.

The Oral B Extra soft brushes are for me, I've tried several others and keep coming back to the Extra Soft.
They don't chew up my gums but seem to be doing a good job of cleaning.

I have been using these soft bristles for almost 2 years now. I used to have slight gum recession from using harder bristles, and these really helped to reduce irritation. I feel like my gums have grown back a bit since I switched, probably the swelling went down. I get them online since they are not easy to find in some pharmacy stores. They clean really well too, and dentist checkups have not been a problem.
