Given a free trial tube of Sensodyne ProNamel by my dentist, I began using it recently. This Mint Essense flavored toothpaste has a very pleasant and mild taste... not overpowering or "shocking" like most toothpastes I've tried. Also, the product I am using is not gritty at all. (One reviewer noted it's gritty feeling; that person likely purchased a fluke and should contact the manufacturer to make a complaint.) I love this product and am hooked even though it's more expensive than others and even though I haven't used it long enough to see physical results.

This product has a nice mint taste and, it does work as it claims to stop the tooth from feeling pain from hot, cold and sweets. My enamel on my teeth is wearing out on my back teeth and, this has helped but, it does not appear to help your teeth make it's own new enamel it just hardens what you already have. If you want to buy a product to assist to have your teeth reenamel the best toothpaste is "Dr.Collins". This is a great toothpaste to use if you want to get protection from pain.

Finally A Product That Works As Advertised,
This review is from: Sensodyne ProNamel Mint Essence Toothpaste, 4 oz. (Health and Beauty)
Although I was skeptical when I first started paying attention to the ads on television, I was having frequent tooth pain especially when drinking hot or cold beverages and/or ice cream. I have been using Pronamel now for several months and my tooth pain is gone even though I still drink the same beverages and eat the occasional ice cream. Would another brand work as well? I have used Colgate and Crest and never noticed relief. Pronamel certainly does what it promises and I am a customer for life.

Not Worth the Price,
By I would use the product for 2 weeks, then take a one week break. I used the product for about 2 months. After brushing each time, it felt like my cheek lining was sloughing off in my mouth. Nothing changed. I didn't see any improvement in the transparency of my teeth, or their sensitivity. Infact, they felt a little more sensitive after brushing with product. I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone. |
