I bought my Nikon a couple years ago. Made the whole switch from film to digital after a lot of thought and research. The main thing that bothered me was that you can never upgrade your 'film', you are stuck with the sensor in the camera, period.

But about a year ago I uncovered a problem they talk very little about with dSLRs, DUST. With film, the sensor plane is constantly renewed, with digital it is always the same and dust will get on it if you every change a lens. Since the changeable lens is a big feature you will get dust. I tried cleaning with Q-tips and lens dust cloths but it was hit and miss and ruined a bunch of pictures. Then after research I realised I needed a decent kit to clean. This kit fits the bill and has what you need to clean your sensor and get back to taking the pictures you bought the camera for.

I had attempted to clean my digital slr sensor with an anti-static brush that I had around for years. Little did I realize that there was oil on the brush from earlier lens cleanings. I ordered the Sensor Swab and blower kit after reading up on its performance and I can say that after one simple use all the dust specks and grease smears are gone. A great product that is easy to use. I do suggest reading and following the directions carefully to avoid any problems.
