Editorial Reviews

Review

"This sensitive and sensible book about effective teaming makes great sense! Following these guidelines, OTs and SLPs can merge the art and science of their fields to provide coherent intervention for kids with sensory processing disorder. 'Stuffed Pants,' 'Oral Box,' and other suggestions work for everybody—children, families, teachers, and therapists."
Carol Kranowitz, MA, author of The Out-of-Sync Child

"Ms. Kashman and Ms. Mora present a comprehensive approach that focuses on building social, motor, learning, and functional living skills. They have put together an impressive set of activities … I heartily recommend this book!"
Georgia DeGangi, PhD, OTR, FAOTA, author of Pediatric Disorders of Regulation in Affect and Behavior

“Janet and Nancy have indeed made a wonderful Sensory Connection between the fields of occupational therapy and speech therapy. They artfully use a holistic approach, even including sensory ideas for helping individuals experience 'running a business.'”
Diana A. Henry, MS, OTR/L
