Sensual Man is the US VHS release of Italian Foreign film PAOLO IL CALDO from Italy 1973. Based on the novel by: Vitaliano Brancati
Here's a short synopsis:
Paolo comes from a long line of hot blooded, sensual Italian
men - an there's no end to the predicaments into which he is driven. Even as a boy Paolo shows signs of the lusty habits he seems to have inherited from his grandfather and uncle. And when grown into full manhood, his rich
irresponsible life is crowded with passionate sexual encounters including a former mistress of Mussolini and a communist female member of Parliament.
Forever remaining unfulfilled due to the childhood romance with the family
maid (ornella muti) that was broken off by his grandfather. - Brilliant
thought provoking drama. Amazing production value and cinematography. Period piece drama. Must see scenes with Ornella Muti and Rossana Podesta - Rare Performance by Barabara Bach and Femi Benussi who plays the prostitute in the climatic scene of the film.
