This cd is superb. The baltic/gypsy influence blend perfectly with her victorian england lush romanticism.

I hate long winded reviews here but this cd is precious. Do yourself a favor and make the splurge and own the most extradordinary piede of art.

Love, love, love...Kate Bush really is sooo magical on this CD. Every song is different. I love her emotion and cadence. Fog is so dreamlike and intense. How can you NOT buy this CD for JUST $6.99???!! Give yourself a wonderful musical gift and BUY IT"0)

If you are going to buy only one Kate Bush album, buy this one or Hounds of Love, both of which are excellent. They are far more consistent and accessible than her other records, even compilations. The songwriting is slightly more consistent on Hounds of Love, but the production on this album is better. It is meticulous and clean, showcasing her voice. This is one of those albums that you can't go wrong with, a staple of college/alternative radio for years when it was released. This Woman's Work may be her best ever vocal performance. I can't imagine anyone being anything less than pleased with this album.

Kate Bush is a pure soprano with a very distinct sound. Very British. This cd full of strings -- cellos, bazukis, violins, celtic harps, mandolins -- and percussion. Read more
