Product Description

Size: 23 to 44-Pound | Style: 3-Month

Sentry Fipro Guard MAX for Dogs topical flea and tick treatment contains the same veterinarian-recommended active ingredient, fipronil, found in Frontline brand Products. But with Fipro Guard MAX, the power of fipronil is maximized by adding a second active ingredient. The patent-pending combination of active ingredients starts to kill fleas and ticks in minutes, even faster than Frontline Plus. It works so fast, it stops reinfestation of fleas, ticks and chewing lice and maintains high efficacy for 30 days, Protecting pets and Homes. Frontline is a registered trademarks of Merial. Fipro Guard MAX is not manufactured by or distributed by Merial In independent studies comparing the efficacy of the combination of ingredients in Fipro Guard MAX to Frontline Plus, more fleas and ticks died within the first hour after application.

Works better than Frontline, and works better than Advantix and costs way less to boot.

Apparently Fipronil no longer works against fleas, or maybe we have super fleas but I will no longer buy this product.

While I didn't see fleas for a two weeks, I saw a tick three days later, and now the fleas are back too.

I have several rescued dogs, flea prevention is a task. They have house and yard access therefore we are in a battle controlling fleas in the summer. I have sprayed the yard, bathed the dogs in flea shampoo, dipped the dogs in expensive dips and used every topical brand on the market as well as the oral products (capstar/program/Heartguard plus) - This is the only product that has worked on ALL of the dogs. My son lives next door and I use it on his 3 rescues. With 8 dogs on 2 grassy acres we have been thrilled with this product. Most items we have used would work on one or two dogs but not on others. This product is great. No oily residue left on the fur, no irritations to the skin as with others, no smells. I will keep buying this product.

I was looking for a flea treatment ,for my very sensitive doggie, that didn't put a huge hole in my budget. I saw the ad for Fiproguard Max and decided to give it a try. Macy had been miserably scratching with no signs of fleas, so I could only assume it was mites. Living in a seaside area has it's downside! I bathed her and then applied the medication as directed. By the next day she was resting comfortably on her freshly washed bed. No scratching or biting!

If you are looking for a flea preventative/treatment that really works and doesn't cost as much as "The Leading Brand", I'd recommend giving Fiproguard Max a try.

After our dogs returned from the groomers, we developed a flea problem and decided to try Fiproguard Max.
The fleas on the dogs and in the house disappeared completely by the 2nd day, without recurrence or any ill affects to the dogs.
I will continue to use this cheaper alternative to Frontline.

At first, it didn't seem to work well at all. He still had many fleas after quite a few hours. Then when me and doggy woke up the next morning, his fleas were gone. Took a day to kill them all, but they were gone and though we live in Atlanta in a VERY woodsy area and I have been unable to find a product that keeps the fleas away 100% this product is the best at that. Works better than Frontline, and works better than Advantix and costs way less to boot.

My dog had the normal Fiproguard, and it didn't work on the third application very well, but the max did work a lot better. He had maybe one or TWO fleas instead of a tail and neck infested with them. I use the 89+ formula now because my dog isn't done growing and is over the 80 lb mark and I buy the 6 month doses and find that if your dog is near the edge, it's best to go up a size with the Fiproguard. We always keep flea traps in our home (we have 4 indoor/outdoor pets) and we've seen no fleas at all as of late.

We use normal Fiproguard on the cats, and it works very well also. I like the product and the more I use it, the more I like it. Won't be buying anything but the MAX for the dog now because the normal wasn't so good. Big YAY from me. Fleas are impossible to get rid of completely in this area... but this controls them the best by far. Also, BUY FROM AMAZON!! Costs WAY more in PetSmart.

UPDATE: I changed my rating to 5 stars as we are totally flea free in mid April and that is truly unheard of around here with our wooded yard and travel areas and our 4 indoor/outdoor pets.

We have been using this brand for several months now and can tell no difference between it and the Frontline brand.
I run 11 60# Walker hounds and it keeps the fleas and deer ticks off of them. Before this I had to sponge the dogs with a Permethrin solution after each weekend, after the hunt, just to get all the ticks off.

I have switched my dogs to this from frontline and I do not notice any difference in my dogs. They still do not have fleas:-) And I am paying about 30% less than I was before.
