The Sentry fire-safe combination safe is UL classified for up to 1-hour fire protection. ETL verified for 1 hr fire protection of CDs, DVS, memory sticks and USB drives up to 1700F. The safe also is ETL verified for a 15ft drop test for durability. The DS0200 model has a 3-number combination lock with clicking dial and durable metal handle. In additional to the combination lock for extra protection this model comes with four live-locking bolts. This safe can be bolted to the floor. The bolts are included with the safe. The inside of the safe has key rack, a compartment for small items which holds standard paper, A-4 size papers, folders and binders.

This product started okay, but just got worse and worse over time.
Turns out it's full of plastic gears rubbing against metal and the plastic wears down, and some actuators won't click and open the safe anymore. So after a year or two it barely ever opens.
Search for "Sentry Safe won't open site:[...]" on Google. Read all the horror stories from people agreeing in the comments.
Now I finally got mine open again, but it won't close.
Worst safe ever.

This small, fire-proof safe was just what I needed for my documents and other valuables. It's small enough to fit in the back of my closet (although heavy, of course). Getting the combination right might take a a couple of tries, but otherwise the safe does what it's supposed to do. Good product so far.

This safe arrived quickly and in perfect condition. It was also easier to move than I anticipated -- after cutting the top of the box off, I just left it on the bottom of the box to slide the safe to its destination. the combination has a nice solid feel and was easy to use. We don't have any other safes to compare this one to, but we're pleased with this purchase.

Burglar stole it!

Great product
Sentry makes great safes in my opinion. Well built and perfect for what I needed it for. I actually like this one better than the sentry I have with the electronic opening.

THIS IS A GREAT PRODUCT.
GREAT PRODUCT, BUT IF YOU WANT TO GO WITH MORE PROTECTION, BUY THE SAFE THAT COMES WITH 4 STEAL BARS ON EACH SIDE. THIS ONE HAS 2 BARS AND IS GREAT, 4 BARS MORE PROTECTION..

Plastic gears = garbage
I had to rip the safe open with a demolition saw to get my valuables out. DO NOT buy this safe or any safe that Sentry makes.
