Just do a Google search on SentrySafe problems. You will find that most people that own one after a few years regret it. My safe will not close properly just after 1 year of owning it. I used it very lightly. Taking apart the back cover reveals very cheap plastic and even cheaper metal parts. All I can say is I told you so if you end up buying one of these or any SentrySafe's for that matter. Save your money!

No Problems, but feel the "plastic" handle leaves something to be desired as it will flex if you have trouble closing a full compartment ,metal would be a better choice

My husband and I were looking to upgrade our safe and we liked this one. We have used SentrySafe before and we had seen this one in a store. Amazon had a cheaper price and free shipping. We liked that is had a hanging file area to keep things organized as well as the adjustable shelves. It fit our needs and we'd recommend it to anyone.

Just had to remove second SentrySafe. Manufacturer sent replacement keypad but that did not open safe so had to cut into safe to remove valuables. Exact same problem as first unit with keypad. First unit had locksmith cut open safe. Had both units for less than a year. Looking elsewhere now for alternative. Poor product and little customer support from manufacturer.

Very poorly built. Plastic door knobe and plastic casing on the buttons. I bolted mine to the floor and I drilled right through the think like it was butter. This think wouldn't hold up to any attack or fire I would think. If you want a safe done't buy this because its more like slowing down a theif by about 5 minutes.

I like this safe very much. It is good and solid. I do wish that the plastic on the front was a little thicker around the handle.Was easy to bolt in the cement floor.Came with the hardware,I just had to get the drill bits.A nice item !!

If the electronis get damaged you are SOOL and will have to pay big money to get your belongings out. Electronic keypads are fine but you must get a keyed access as well.

I had read other reviews concerning the plastic handle and it does seem a little weak but as I see it if the handle breaks it makes it just that harder for someone to get into it. Hopefully it won't be me. It is easier to move than I expected but there is always the option to anchor it down. The instructions on how to program the access code were really weak. The safe did not respond as the directions stated. Playing with it I was able to change the code but I think this was more luck than direction. I really like the looks of the safe and the locking mechanism appears to be quite substantial. The inside of the safe provides for hanging file folders as well as a tray for your other items. There is even a little pouch on the inside of the door. Over all I like the design of the unit inside and out and I am very please with this purchase.
