Electronic Keypad with Override Key
Featuring an electronic lock, the SentrySafe X125 is simple to set up and operate. Once you install four "AA" batteries (not included), you'll be able to program the safe to open using any two-to-eight-digit passcode that you choose. Red, yellow, and green LED lights guide you through the process.
Two override keys that will open the safe without use of the passcode are also included, so you're ensured access to your valuables even if you forget your code or the batteries in the keypad run out.

The SentrySafe X125 also features a hardened steel lock plate to protect from drill attempts, two solid steel live-locking bolts, a solid steel pry-resistant body, and a solid steel pry-resistant door with concealed hinges. A removable shelf allows you to stack your precious possessions, keeping them from becoming jumbled and damaged. For additional protection, the X125 has a carpeted floor that will keep your laptop or other delicate items from becoming scratched or damaged. Designed with the ability to be bolted easily to the floor using the included mounting hardware, this safe comes with instructions for simple do-it-yourself installation.

Only buy if you can modify, easily opened in less than 5 seconds,

I bought this as a theft deterrent. Well after looking at it and reading online, I discovered it can be opened WITHOUT tools in less than 5 seconds. That's anti theft? I modified mine for mounting before realizing this, so no returns. I wasn't going to tell without having a solution, maybe Sentry will change the design. Take your fist and hit the front door strongly above the knob at a 45 degree angle downward, at the same time turning the knob. Open in less time than to enter to code. Pityfull!I fixed it by glueing a 3/4 inch round magnet on the lock bar just above the electric solenoid, half off over the bar to the solenoid. You may have to try different magnets to get the right strength, but the first one I tried worked, so maybe not so critical. The magnet keeps the solenoid bar from falling so easily. But, a large hammer may still be a problem, didn't try. Sentry, modify the design.

This safe is just the right size for a home security safe. The budjet minded cost made this safe well worth every penny. A very solid well made secure safe. It totally exceeded my expectations. Not too heavy as far as being able to locate a proper place to install/bolt this safe. The touch key combination seems to work out better for us (easy to use). Plenty of room for important documents, money, and jewelry. Has given us the peace of mind knowing these items are secure. Stop looking you'll be pleased with this safe.

Good Value for Product,

The fact that I was able to buy the product at a reduced rate ($116.00) made it a good value. Sturdy construction, two shelves, just the right size for documents and a couple of pistols. Not fire rated, so don't mistake it for surviving a fire. I would recommend this product.
