A "Must Reading" for students in Mysticism,
By "robertobrenes" (Miami, Florida United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Sepher Yetzirah (Paperback)
Very helpful reading for students in mysticism, specially members of the Rosicrucian Order or Traditional Martinist Order, who want to deepen their study of Jewish mysticism. It is the basis for understanding the Kabbalah, but is of little use for the profane reader.

Excellent Translation,

This review is from: Sepher Yetzirah (Paperback)
This specific translation was recommended to me by many Kabbalists and my Kabbalah teacher. I have found it to be an elegant read, each word resonating with me personally. I did not find this with other translations. I highly recommend Wescott's version for deep study into the Book of Formation.

The Thirty-Two Paths,
This review is from: Sepher Yetzirah (Paperback)
This book was of great help in understanding both the Kabalah and the Tarot. An excellent tool for the student of mysticism.

Not worth it,
By Michael Dinowitz "Master of the House of Fusi... (Brooklyn, NY USA) - See all my reviews (REAL NAME)
This review is from: Sepher Yetzirah (Paperback)
Wescott made so many basic mistakes in his translation of the Hebrew of the Sefer Yetzirah that the only reason to buy this book is to laugh at him. Even to this day, one of his mistakes is taken as a 'sacred mystery' within Hermetic magic when in truth it's just a mistranslated word.
