Even among the excellent Play Arts series, this is one of the best figures available. Posability is good, if somewhat limited in the legs. The figure is able to take many poses from the game and movie, including his in-battle stance, which really works for setting up a nice display.

It may not be visible on here, but the hair is actually semi-transparent, allowing light to go through it a bit, giving it a -very- cool look. There are different hands to help with different poses, a stand, and of course Masamune, his sword, which is just as long on the figure as it is in the game.

Overall, this is a great representation of the game's villain, and I recommend it to any fan of the game.

The art on the figure is so impressive!
There's so much detail on his face and in his clothes.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good over all, but with a little joint trouble., February 24, 2009
= Durability:4.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Sephiroth No. 7 Final Fantasy VII Play Arts Vol. 2 (Toy)
This figure is beautiful and well design, like all of Play Arts figures but the only problem I seem to have with it is the leg joints. The joint at the hip had some trouble for me, the right joint was WAY to loose, till the point the leg actually popped off the hip joint, while the left leg was way to stiff, not being able to move at all. But other then that a great buy! Worth it if your a huge fan of the game or Play Arts.

This figure is probably the best sephiroth figure in the playarts line yet. The detail is wonderful, the figure by itself is rather sturdy, and the posibility is not bad eathier. I imagine you could play with it even, but their are a few things to keep in mind. The sword by itself is not sturdy and looks like it will break easily, posibility is some what limited because of the hair and coat. Sephiroth's waist is designed with a balljoint that connects the lower half of the figure to its upper half making his waste movement rather wobbley. The hands are alot better than previous versions of sephiroth, the pegs are durrable and won't break unless to much force is applied. So in other words, these are good hands(better than previous figures) but be carefull. As well, sephiroth's sword hand has a very good grip, he holds his sword well. Where previous figures have had a loose grip or have started out good but loose their tightness after action, this one still holds his sword in a tight grip. However, I use the kingdom hearts sephiroth sword, because it's safe to say that out of the other sephiroth swords its the most durrable and flexible, it bends rather than break. That's just my oppinion though and the best of luck I have had with the sephiroth merchandise.
