Unbiased, Unpolitical, Matter-of-Fact Explanation.
Namcy Poffenberger's book, September 11th, 2001, was excellently written in a very straightforward, matter-of-fact manner for young children. It doesn't try to politicize or dramatize 9-11, or place blame, like so many other writers have done. Talking to children about the horrors that occured on 9-11 with this book in hand (illustrated BY children) is a gift in itself...

Truth
This book is not really for children but more for Ms. Poffenberger own purpose. She is basically sharing his ideas and I think she wrote this book for herself. This book i think does not communicate with a child because nothing is explained at all but simply stated. Would i buy this book and let a child read it? Nope, i would not.
