4.0 out of 5 stars It drove me a little crazy sometimes!
I got a little frustrated with this book. You knew that something was sparking between them (Kate and Blake), but it was like they couldn't get a steady blaze going on between them because they acted either rude or childish from the very beginning. They fought over everything, and Kate was made out to be spineless with no goal in life but to spend Blake's money. (Not a...

3.0 out of 5 stars A Very Typical DP Book!
The storyline of this book looks like a quilt made up of some of the other classical DP's books like Now & Forever, the Diamond Girl, & the Champaigne Girl.... (The hero keeps the heroine in an emotional limbo right up until the end of the book....) It seems to be a good book for a day of relaxation(, but not a spectacularly good one of DP's)....

(Not a real pretty picture of the modern woman!) Their bursts of temper lead to bursts of passion that lead to abrupt endings. I liked the conclusion though, when the story picks up speed and brings clarity to Kate and Blake's feelings that have seemed sort of muddled until then.

4.0 out of 5 stars One of My Very Favorites, October 10, 2001

I have read this book, and I must say that there are very few romance books in which I have enjoyed more. The relationship between Katherine and Blake was so passionate. The book kept me entertained, and left me feeling satisfied at the end. I absolutely loved the ending of the book. Unfortunately, I have lost the book, and I am having a very difficult time finding a book store that has it in stock. However, it is one book that I have read again and again. I hope to find it again so I can continue to do so.

5.0 out of 5 stars This book is on my top ten list!!!, November 16, 2003

I absoluetly love this book. The first time that I read this book was about 15 years ago and I have read it every year since then. The chemistry between Blake and Kathryn Mary was great. However, the character that I liked best was Phillip. He was funny, witty, and he kept the lively. I would definetly recommend this book.

1.0 out of 5 stars Very Irritating, June 21, 2000
By A Customer
The beginning of the book was slow and it continued through the whole book. The heroine was weak and very childish. The hero was deliberately annoying to her and immature. He was also a control freak. They never agreed on anything (out loud) and they never had any serious conversations long enough to learn about each other. The reader knew the characters but the characters didn't know each other.
