This year, I'm about to take the Sequential Math Course I Regents. These books (it includes 2, Barron's Regents Exams and Answers: Sequential Math Course I AND Let's Review: Sequential Mathematics Course I) have boosted my confidence and given me a great way for me to know EXACTLY what I can expect on the Math I Regents. I especially love the Let's Review book. It gives mini review lessons that explain everything, even if you've never done these operations before. At the end of each little lesson are some questions. One problem with these is that the only answers in the book are the ones to odd numbered questions. At the end, there are three Regents exams with all the answers, but these answers aren't explained. You'd have to go back into the book and redo a lesson. You may now be thinking: "Ok, so why would I want a book that doesn't explain the answers to the real Regents?" This is why they also include Regents Exams and Answers. In this book, they have 12 Regents, but don't think now you have a total of 15, they overlap. Anyway, this book gives you the Regents, then gives you the basic answer (Ex. 2) then will go more in-depth if you need it (how to obtain 2). If you still don't think you understand the questions, there are brush up questions that have the answers and explanations to the same type of question. In this book, there are charts for every Regent as to how many of a certain type of question there are so you can anticipate which topics you should be studying more than others. It also informs you of which questions you missed are which type of questions. (Ex. #4 deals with Square Root; Operations Solving Radicals). In the beginning, there are also helpful tips on taking the Regents. These books are very easy to follow. You won't be disappointed, believe me. It's given me total confidence, if nothing else. Can't recommend enough, A+++++++++++!
