Tiro de Gracia are one of the few talents that came this far. But one of the first groups that came out of the (gettho) of Chile. Mixxing west-cost, salsa, jazz, and party flowing beats. All these element of music make hip-hop be the new form of music for this generation. Lirics are on point, making you use conscienceness; for example "Viaje sin Rumbo and Leyenda Negra." Talking about a reality that people must keep. That defines what Tiro de Gracia. A True Taste of Chilean Hip-Hop... Also there is track with 10 other MC. "female mc. too" they are really ripping-it. Yeah Baby.

For a little time now, Hip-Hop in Latin America has been mostly an underground thing but with time many groups have come into being. With the success of groups like Control Machete and Molotov, it was only a matter of time before a group of this calibur would come along. This band from Chile exerts a great amount of lyrical skill mixed with some tight beats and samples. Definitely a must for any Hip-Hop fan. There's a mix of G-funk with some east coast pure Hip-Hop that clearly shows the influence of all groups from the states in this band. Tiro de Gracia was definitely one of the first groups to make a name for themselves in this genre (which is put in the Latin Alternative/Rock en Espanol), especially considering that Hip-Hop is huge in Chile and Argentina. Songs like "El Juego Verdadero" , "Viaje Sin Rumbo" , "Chupacabras" show a variety in this group's spontaneity. They also do play instruments. Great debut CD from this band from Santiago. One can only wish that this album was released earlier in the US, it came out in 97 in Chile. They already have a new album out right now in Chile.

ser humano is one of the greatest albums that came from chile in the past year. great mix of culture and music. el juego verdadero is far the best song followed by viaje sin rumbo y melaza.....get it you will love it
