Tender, Loving, and Heartfelt,
By
This review is from: Serenade (Arabesque) (Paperback)
This book was sooooooo good! Parker and Alex were a couple that i loved, they were apart for a period of ten years before they were able to finally embrace their love for one another and come together. They meet again at mutuals friends wedding at first Parker doesn't recognize Alexander, but she recognizes him. They are thrown together by their friends at the reception, where they pick up where they left off. At first Alex is reluctant, because she feels Parker left and abandoned her but soon she gives in after Parker encourages and pushes her to embrace her dreams of becoming a professional singer in the opera. Parker himself has become famous for his music, and isn't all into it as he use to be, but he wants Alex to realize, and embrace her dream, because she encouraged him to embrace his. When, Alex gets sick, Parker is finally able to prove and show her how much he loves her.

As usual, I enjoyed this Sandra Kitt novel.,
This review is from: Serenade (Arabesque) (Paperback)
This one was very good. I liked the pace, the language was believeable, and the characters I could get into. I just wished for more steamy action between Alex and Dallas. Sandra Kitt never fails to delight me.

Parker left the love he knew and then when he came back, he was willing to give her up so that she could know about fame and fortune.

Serenade tells the story of Alexandra and Parker. Lovers more than 10 years before the current story, Alexandra was crushed when Parker left without warning or explanation. Now Parker is an accomplished musician and Alexandra a struggling singer. Passion reignites between the two. Although Alexandra's younger sister, a spoiled brat at the least, presents a formidable obstacle for these two to resume their relationship where it was aborted 10 years ago, the story tells of their path back to each other. Sandra Kitt is a wonderful writer and it shows in this story, despite the annoyance of the baby sister's interference to the main storyline.
