I have grown tomatoes, cucumbers, squash, and peppers for a number of years. Every year, the tomatoes and even some peppers are quickly overtaken by early blight, septoria leaf spots, and other soil-borne, fungus based diseases (there are a lot of them). Many of them cause the dark spots on the leaves that turn yellow in concentric circles out from the spot until the whole leaf, and eventually the branch, turns yellow and dies. This usually happens from the lower limbs and works its way up. It eventually takes over and basically kills the whole plant. This is usually well before the plant is finished producing fruit. I also have the same type of blight on squash and cucumbers as well as powdery mildew (another fungus). I try very hard to maintain as much of an organic garden as possible and did not like the idea of the other fungicides that were available on the market - even those that were supposed to be organic (i.e. copper). I was very excited, after much research, to find out about Serenade Garden. It uses a type of bacteria (Bacillus subtilis) that is completely harmless to humans, pets, or beneficial bugs. It works very much like 'BT' (Bacillus thuringiensis) does on cabbage worms - killing the worms but you can eat the produce the same day that you spray. Serenade only attacks and kills the many, many fungi that are responsible for taking down many of our garden plants every year. And you can harvest and eat the fruits and vegetables the same day that you spray.

I already had signs of blight on several of my tomatoes by the time I found out about this product. I sprayed the very first day it arrived and it definitely retarded the spread of the blight.

I am a organic vegetable gardner in Houston, TX. Houston is hot and humid and fungus will grow on about anything that I plant. I use this product weekly on my 30 plus tomato plants, and have been buying it locally. The Amazon price gave me 3 bottles for the price of 2 locally purchased bottles. The is the best product I have been able to find. I only had a little fungus this year, and it appeared only after I was a few days late applying the product. I use it every 7 days, and learned my lesson on skipping a week. It wont cure/prevent everything, but as I mentioned above, its the best product I have found so far.

With Serenade I quickly stopped a fungus from ruining the tomatoes I'd raised from seeds. It's pretty smelly in application, so stay upwind as you spray. After it dried, I felt the tomato leaves and there was no residual tackiness or chemical scent - my hand smelled only of tomato plant. I have to reapply the spray about every 10 days, but my tomato plants have grown to over 7 feet tall with many branches bearing heavy clusters of Campari tomatoes. The plants were hearty enough to withstand the outskirts of a tropical storm which brought down tree limbs. I only lost 2 clusters and the tallest plant snapped off a couple of feet from the top - just as well, as I can't reach that high. It hasn't diminished the health of the plant, and I'm scrambling to find interesting recipes to use on this bounty of tomatoes I'm now harvesting. I've lived on this same property for over 20 years and this is the first time I've been able to bring tomatoes from seed to plump and juicy red-ripe, and in great abundance.

Got this because my apple trees developed fire blight. This is a bacterial disease that is spread by bees, and can kill the tree. It also destroys the apples. Serenade workes well, I got the ready to use spray first, used it up, and immediately ordered the concentrate and got a dedicated sprayer for it. At first symptoms, you spray it on, you can even use it on mature fruit, it is biologic in nature and won't hurt you to eat fruit after treatment.
